You're My Main Squeeze: Summer Citrus Styled Shoot
Bright summer citrus was the inspiration for this styled shoot. Studio 180 is such a unique venue, and we were eager to create here! The space exudes inspiration, and we were excited to combine bright, fresh summer citrus with the funky, industrial details of the space.
Our models, and real couple Emma & Giancarlo’s love is tender and passionate. They have a modern love story, they met online and grew to love one another while cooking together, and exploring the outdoors. Their genuine emotion made the shoot romantic & steamy!
Emma wore a stunning, sleek Mikaella dress from Silk Bridal Boutique, jewelry from The Gem Lab, and beautiful citrus tone heels. The graceful and natural makeup look by Alyssa Frederick was stunning, and Emma’s classic up do by Annelise Rigsbee complimented her headpiece from Silk Bridal Boutique.
The groom’s caramel suit from Friar Tux was spot on, unique and really tied his style into the bright summer theme. Giancarlo also wore a light tan suit from Vittorio Formal Wear, which was striking against his complexion.
Emma and Giancarlo’s rings from The Gem Lab were eye-catching in rose gold, and all the added sparkle they brought to the shoot was incredible!
Rockcastle Florist created a delightful and effortless looking bouquet, and pocket boutonniere which was unique and promoted the citrus concept. To accentuate the beauty of the Trinity Arbor & the Copper Arbor provided by Something Borrowed Rentals, Rockcastle’s use of fresh citrus, and flowers in hues of lime, lemon, and grapefruit was exceptional. The fresh citrus vases, and bright pops of color with lush greenery brought our vision to life!
Something Borrowed Rentals also provided the Arcs Arbor exquisitely decorated with their premium faux florals, to provide just the right balance of softness against the exposed brick detail of Studio 180.
Keri Klein of Flower city Nuptials led the couple in vows while Hannah Rose, the Pug took center stage in her lovely Flower Collar by Rockcastle Florist.
The charcuterie display provided by Cheese & Charcuterie Club was not only delicious, but a work of art!
The citrus forward cake and cupcakes provided by Caked were visually perfect and beyond tasty…the lovely lemon flavor was even on theme!
Emma & Giancarlo were stunned to see the beautiful invitation suite with their names on it, created by Lanni Mazerowski. The citrus theme came alive through this charming design, and made the moment so real for our couple!
Julia Merrell of Stamp & Co. took and edited these amazing shots, and brought her bright and summery energy to the set! Check out these gorgeous photos below and let us know your favorites!
