Rochester, NY Elopement at Home | Mark & Liz

One of the sweetest nuptials we have been able to be a part of was between Mark & Liz, owners of Indigo Luxe.  This sweet couple met in high school, reconnected years later, and decided to elope with just their children as witnesses.  One of their son’s hosted the wedding at his house.

It was a beautiful and relaxing May day.  Liz’s glam team Glow Up By Angilee and Special Occasion Hair Design made the already stunning bride shine even brighter.   The floral crown by Rockcastle Florist was a beautiful accent and nod to the boho vibe that framed the event. 

The First Look captured by the amazing Emma Rizzo Photo was truly one of the purest moments.  We loved Mark’s reaction and having all their sons sharing in the first look as well. Next, the couple moved inside and chatted with their daughter who was living in Spain and joined virtually.  We can’t say enough about the joy and love in this family!

Following the ceremony, they were able to enjoy a traditional first dance and champagne toast.  After digging into some of the food, it was time to cut their couple cut cake by Torta that was almost too beautiful to eat!  Following the bright colors and boho inspiration provided by Mark & Liz, Ashley from Torta created a gorgeous mini cut cake that remains one of our favorites. 

We were so honored to be included in this family’s union and can’t wait to continue to support their business and spend more time with them!  We’re coming over for Sunday Sauce!
