Rochester, NY Backyard Wedding – Private Residence | Lisa & Mark

Lisa & Mark’s love was really at the center of the day and the two of them handled all the challenges of planning a wedding with calm focus.  As a pandemic couple, the planning process was definitely more difficult than normal. Their November 2020 wedding was during the first surge of COVID cases after a relatively calm summer and was still during the time when vaccines had not yet been available. That being said, they had to make the difficult choice of deciding between postponing their wedding (again) or cutting their already reduced guest list – the week of their event. However, as previously mentioned, their love was evident, and they ultimately decided to move forward with a smaller version of their backyard wedding.

Their ceremony at Sacred Heart Cathedral was stunning, followed by photos taken at Highland Park's Sunken Gardens and various places throughout the city of Rochester, were all captured beautifully by Garrett Maynard and second shooter Cecelia Denise Photo, as well as Zach Warren Films. They hired private chef Jeffory to create a buffet for their guests, and the food and staff were incredible.

For being a smaller crowd, the reception so much fun, thanks in part to Pistol Pete and HandleBar Catering.  Lisa & Mark and their guests managed the playlist throughout the night, and everyone had a blast.  We feel very honored to have been a part of such an important day with such wonderful people!
